...Isn't happening!!!
Management has decided that they want something more family oriented for after-hours, and we all know that we're only family oriented in the sense that somewhere there are taco-eating bestialists who buy drugs from the CIA and are looking for something to take their kids to so they can learn the birds & bees.
In the meantime we're putting the finishing touches on the sketches that will be coming up in our next ALL NEW show, as well as website changes, and some other fun things just in time for the holidays.

Re: Dickens Christmas Festival Nightshow!!!
Tue, November 29, 2005 - 12:25 PMIf by "rolling" you mean "performing" and if by "up" you mean "AND drinking a lot" and if by "this weekend" you really mean "this weekend," then YES!!! But it has nothing to do with Single Entendre and everything to do with Dickens faire.
heh... :D

Re: Dickens Christmas Festival Nightshow!!!
Tue, November 29, 2005 - 12:40 PMFor those that don't know (I sometimes forget how many we've actually managed to pull into this tribe), 4/5 of us are already performing at the Dickens Xmas Fair, which is why SE is a little slower at the moment than usual.
I'm in the Broadside Musichall (Mad Sal's), Holly and Ben are both with the Pantomime (V&A), and Rey is with the Crummles (???).
Chad sits at home and quilts. -

Re: Dickens Christmas Festival Nightshow!!!
Tue, November 29, 2005 - 12:49 PMAhhhh.... I see where I'd gotten confused. I had thought that you were saying that SE was going to be performing an after-hours show to rival the swing dance thing that was going on.
It's not the weekend yet so I'm still sober. I get easily confused when I'm like this. -

Re: Dickens Christmas Festival Nightshow!!!
Tue, November 29, 2005 - 12:57 PMWell... We had been trying to do our own nightshow in the Sal's area as a tie-in to the Sal's cast party and such, and as a launch for us into the SF Sketchfest, but for whatever reason they can only have one after-hours event and they want it to be, apparently, swing dancing.
I'm pretty sure that our show would sell way more alcohol, but that might just be crazy talk. Afterall, who are we to critique their business decisions. I mean just because our shows break even... -

Re: Dickens Christmas Festival Nightshow!!!
Tue, November 29, 2005 - 2:14 PMYes, I do believe it's safe to say that seeing Dan in a dress would generate a widespread desire for alcohol... -

Tue, November 29, 2005 - 3:32 PMThere are two people at the Dickens fair sanctioned by management to cross -dress in women's clothing: your husband for Queen Betsy, and me for "Will you love me when I'm mutton as you do now I am lamb." -
